Best fried chicken I've had in my life at Maverick

I've probably had it a dozen times.

I've had excellent fried chicken at many places in SF, but Maverick consistently serves the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life.

Have a challenger? Suggestions welcome. But it should be said that your case won't be as strong unless you've actually had the chicken at Maverick.

My God!... that looks so good. My eyes are drooling. Was it crispy on the outside, tender on the inside? Spiices? Or just good old salt & pepper? And there's gravy... and what else? :)

Front Porch is awesome, but I'll give Maverick's a try

i'm sorry but good fried chicken does not need a sauce/gravy. Buttlemilk Channel in brooklyn NY is way better, then that shit they served me at Maverick.

Farmer Brown's Little Skillet in SOMA. Crispy, tender, and you place your order while standing in alley and dodging cars.

Haven't had it but will go on the list. Try hard knox cafe in the dog patch.

Hard Knox sucks. I've had it three times, with the last being their version of Chix and Waffles. Roscoe's in LA tops my list. I'll check out Mav's though, but forget aboutHard Knox. Terrible...
